In-ground vermicomposting

Question: Could you speak to any best practices surrounding in-ground vermicompsting? Specific location South Texas.

Worms do have a preferred temperature range of 59-77 degrees farenheit. Above 95 degrees and they will start to die. Not sure how your temperatures may fluctuate in South Texas, but if you are able to offer them an in the ground/cooler ventilated space that could still be a great option. We did find an interesting discussion thread on this topic (for Texas!) here: https://www.redwormcomposting.com/reader-questions/vermicomposting-extreme-heat/
