2023 – Valparaiso creates a pilot program in residence halls to see if personal recycling containers help increase the recycling rate.

2022 – Fix-it Fair Mending Workshop repairs items and teaches attendees how to mend clothing, resulting in reducing waste by keeping these items out of the landfill.
