Who is this guide for?

This guide is for college and university students who wish to help their school take action to reduce waste and increase recycling year round. The activities in this guide can also be used to engage the campus community during the Campus Race to Zero Waste (formerly RecycleMania) Spring competition.

What is this guide for?

The Activity Guide aims to help you take action during the year to reduce waste, increase recycling, and introduce new students to what it means to be part of a sustainable campus. Use the activities and resources that follow to engage RAs and new students, increase waste reduction and recycling practices among all students and faculty, and prepare for the Campus Race to Zero Waste (formerly RecycleMania) competition in the Spring. The activities in this guide can be part of your competition or take place any time during the year!
